Today’s Quick Tip….
How to see more than 10 Google search results per page
By default, when you search for something on Google you’ll only see ten search results per page.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for on the first page you can click the Next link at the bottom to view another page of results.
Most of the time you’ll likely find what you were looking for on the first page, but not always. When I’m researching something I occasionally have to view two, three or even more pages of results before I find just the right one.
If you dislike having to keep clicking Next to view more results you can easily increase the number of search results that Google displays on each page. Here’s how:
Note: This procedure must be performed via the Google website on a laptop or desktop PC. There’s no way to make this change via the Google mobile app.
1 – Visit Google.com and click the Settings link in this bottom-right corner of the window, then select Search settings from the pop-up menu.
2 – In the left-hand column, click Search results.
3 – Adjust the “Results per page” slider to the number of search results you’d like to see on each page. (If it helps, I keep mine set to 50.)
4 – Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
That’s all there is to it. From now on when you search for something on Google you’ll be shown the number of search results you selected on each page.
