Today’s Quick Tip….
Stop your ‘Smart TV’ from spying on you
If you have a ‘Smart TV’ you know how awesome they are. But all that awesomeness comes with a rather intrusive downside…
By default, all smart TVs spy on the users’ activities and then send that data back home to the manufacturers.
And you’d be surprised at the types and amount of data they collect. As I said above, they really are quite intrusive.
Luckily, it’s fairly easy to put a stop to the spying if you’re at all concerned about your family’s privacy. The details are too involved to print here, but not to worry…
Our friend Brian Westover at Tom’s Guide has put together this comprehensive guide that covers several of the most popular devices.
