Today’s Quick Tip….
How to delete all of your Gmail messages at once
I’ve had several people ask me how they can delete all the messages stored in their Gmail accounts in one fell swoop.
As luck would have it, this is actually a pretty easy task to accomplish. Just follow the steps below:
Important: The procedure below will wipe out every message that’s currently stored in your Gmail account. Before proceeding either archive your messages or take other steps to preserve any messages you wish to keep.
1 – Open a web browser on a laptop or desktop PC and sign in to your Gmail account (this cannot be done on a mobile device).
2 – In the left-hand column, click All Mail.
3 – Click the top-most box on the left-hand side of the message list.
4 – Click Select all XXX messages in All Mail.
5 – Click the Trash Can icon that’s located on the top menu bar, then click OK to confirm that you really want to bulk delete all of your messages at one time.
That’s all there is to it. You have just deleted every message that was stored in your Gmail account.
