Today’s Quick Tip….
How to delete a Facebook Group
Do you have a Facebook group that you’d like to delete for some reason?
If so, you won’t find a way to delete the group from within any of Facebook’s Settings screen or menu.
For whatever reason, Facebook makes you jump through a few hoops in order to delete an unwanted group.
If you need to delete a Facebook group just follow the steps below:
1 – Scroll through the list of group members and remove the members one-by-one until you are the only member left.
Note: This could take quite a while if your group has lots of members, and unfortunately there is no shortcut. You’ll have to manually remove every member.
2 – Leave the group yourself.
That’s all there is to it. It really is that simple.
A group must have at least one member in order to exist on the Facebook platform. After you have removed all the other members and then left the group yourself the group will automatically be deleted.
