Today’s Quick Tip….
Plan ahead for reporting a lost or stolen credit/debit card
If you’re like most people these days you probably carry two, three or even more credit and/or debit cards in your wallet or purse at all times.
Also, like most people, you probably know how important it is to contact the bank to report a lost or stolen card as quickly as possible in order to avoid getting stuck with some crook’s fraudulent charges.
But have you ever taken a moment to think about how you’d report several lost or stolen cards in a hurry? After all, the number you call to make the report is always printed on the back of the card, right?
Here are a couple of great ways to plan ahead for such an emergency:
1 – Write down the bank name, the card number and the “report a lost card” phone number for every card you own.
Once you have all of that info written down, store multiple copies of that paper in places that are both secure and easily accessible in case you ever need to get your hands on one of them in a hurry.
2 – Even better, store all of that card info in your phone’s “Notes” app.
Since you probably have your phone with you at all times you’ll always have that all-important card info with you as well. That means you’ll be able to call to report a lost or stolen card immediately after you notice that it’s missing.
Important: If you use method 2 make sure you protect access to your phone with a strong PIN. Just sayin’.

Foval 200W Car Power Inverter (12VDC to 110VAC)
Do you have a small appliance that normally plugs into an AC wall outlet that you’d like to power from your car’s 12VDC accessory port?
This handy device will let you power a laptop charger, a small TV set or most any other small appliance that draws less than 200 watts of power directly from your car’s 12VDC accessory port (what used to be commonly known as a cigarette lighter port).
As a bonus it also provides four USB charging ports. What’s not to love?
