Do you own a 2016 or 2017 MacBook Pro that won’t charge the battery past 1%?
If so, your machine just might qualify for a free replacement battery from Apple.
The folks at Apple have just announced that a small percentage of 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pros have a battery issue that requires the replacement of the battery.
If your machine qualifies they’ll replace the defective battery at no charge to you.
This page on the Apple website explains how to check to see if your MacBook Pro qualifies for the free battery replacement.
If you determine that it does you’ll need to contact Apple to request the replacement. Contrary to what the scammers of the world might say, Apple won’t be contacting you in regards to this issue.
I have to say that Apple is usually pretty responsive when it comes to things like this.
And millions of Apple owners apparently agree since they’re willing to pay a premium just for the privilege of purchasing an Apple product instead of one from a competing brand.
Bottom line: If you own a 2016 or 2017 MacBook Pro that won’t charge the battery past 1% you just might qualify for a free battery replacement.
I strongly recommend that you take a moment to check into it.
