CVS has just announced that the third-party company that runs its CVSphoto.com website has been hacked and millions of customer credit cards have potentially been compromised.
And CVS customers aren’t the only folks who need to be concerned. PNI Digital Media (the company that actually runs the CVSphoto.com website) also provides online photo services for both Costco and Wal-Mart Canada.
If you have used ANY of the services mentioned above in the past, you need to contact your credit card’s issuing bank immediately and ask them to cancel your card and issue a replacement. It might also be a good idea to monitor your credit reports for suspicious activity just be on the safe side.
As of this writing, the CVSphoto.com website is offline, but you can contact the company at 800-SHOP-CVS for more information.
