Today’s featured tech tip….
Make your phone’s LED flash when it rings
If you (or someone you love) is hearing impaired it might be helpful to have your smartphone’s LED light to flash every time a call or text comes in.
If you have an iPhone you can set this up with just a few taps:
1 – Tap Settings.
2 – Tap Accessibility.
3 – Tap Audio & Visual.
4 – Toggle the “LED Flash for Alerts” setting to On.
That’s all there is to it. Just remember that your iPhone’s LED will only flash if the phone is locked.
In regards to Android phones, not all of them have an “LED flash on Alerts” (or similar) setting.
You can find out if yours does by going into your phone’s Accessibility settings and searching for a setting similar to the one mentioned in the Phone section above.
If your phone doesn’t have such a setting you can use an app to make the LED flash when a call or text comes in.
Simply open the Google Play Store and search for the term flash alert. You’ll find several apps to choose from. Just read the descriptions and ratings and choose the one that looks the best to you.

Rick’s Daily Pick…
NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000A UltraSafe Car Battery Jump Starter
If your car were to end up with a dead battery, would have to call an expensive tow-truck or depend on the kindness of strangers (which is not exactly safe these days)?
Keep this little gem in your vehicle and you’ll never have to worry about getting stranded due to a dead battery again.
This particular portable jump starter has been a perineal best seller for years, and for good reason – it’s awesome!
