Today’s featured tech tip….
How to open a Command Prompt window in a specific folder
If you use the “Command Prompt” in Windows you probably open the Command Prompt window first and then use the “Change Directory” command CD to navigate to the folder you need to work in.
But as luck would have it, there’s a much easier way…
First, navigate to the target folder in “File Explorer”.
Next, type the letters cmd into the address box and press the Enter key.
You should now have an open “Command Prompt” window with the target folder already selected within it.
