Today’s featured tech tip….
How to instantly disable WiFi on your smartphone
Does your smartphone have a habit of automatically connecting to weak WiFi networks even when a cellular data connection would be faster, and more stable?
If so, you’re probably used to slogging through the phone’s Settings to manually disable WiFi every time that happens.
Well, there’s a much faster and easier way to temporarily disable WiFi if you have Siri or Google Assistant enabled on your phone…
- If you have an iPhone just say “Hey Siri, turn off WiFi“.
- If you have an Android phone say “Hey Google, turn off WiFi“.
That’s all there is to it. Your phone should immediately spring into action and turn off WiFi so you can start using the faster cellular data connection.
