Today’s featured tech tip….
Want to use a standard 2-button mouse with a Mac?
Every now and then I receive a request for help from someone who recently switched from a Windows PC to their first Mac, and vice versa.
One of the questions I receive most often is whether you can use a 2-button mouse with a Mac instead of the 1-button mouse those machines are famous for.
Well, surprisingly the answer is yes…
Truth be told, a 2-button “Windows” type mouse will work just fine on a MacBook or Mac desktop computer. All you have to do is buy one that plugs into a USB-C port.
Alternatively, if you prefer using a cordless mouse you can simply buy a standard Bluetooth mouse and you’ll be in business.
Your local electronics retailer should have both USB-C and Bluetooth-enabled mice in stock, but if not Amazon has a wide variety of them.
